History

The ministry was incorporated in the state of Georgia in 1987 as Crossroads Career® Services, Inc., and is a non-profit public charity 501(c)(3) organization. After more than 10 years of all-volunteer ministering in the marketplace primarily through churches, a small group of business people in Atlanta set out in 2000 to develop and launch Crossroads Career Network. It is a program designed to help churches minister to people at career crossroads.

Crossroads Career Services, Inc.

Serving as the equipping and support organization for the network, Crossroads Career Services, Inc. is headquartered in Charlotte, North Carolina. It continuously finds, develops and updates ministry resources, which are distributed primarily through its password-protected website. Financial statements are available upon request.

A volunteer leadership team serves the network with the assistance of a director of operations and staff. Crossroads Career Services is a small ministry organization with big aspirations! We want to reach hundreds of churches and tens of thousands of job seekers with this resource. To do that, we need to support as many churches as possible with a very small staff, which helps us keep the annual membership cost low.
