Our Mission and Vision

Provide practical, spiritual, and emotional support to achieve two goals:

HISTORY

After 10 years of volunteer ministering in the marketplace and through churches, a group of business people set out in 2000 to develop and launch Crossroads Career® Network, a program designed for churches to minister to people at career crossroads.

By 2004, 43 churches in ten states had started their own volunteer-led Crossroads Career® ministries, reaching nearly 10,000 people through Network Meetings and small-group study courses.

In 2004, the leaders of Crossroads took the next step. We invested heavily in building the portal, providing a new job board, upgrading the Career Explorer's Course, and growing the number of Crossroads churches.

ORGANIZATION

Crossroads Career® Services, Inc. is the support organization for Crossroads Career® Network. Headquartered in Charlotte, North Carolina, we equip and support member churches in the network. The ministry was incorporated in the state of Georgia in 1987 and is a 501(c)(3) organization. Financial statements are available upon request.

STATEMENT OF FAITH

There is one God, eternally existing in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. (Deuteronomy 6:4; 2 Corinthians 13:14)

The Bible is God's written revelation to mankind, and it is verbally inspired, authoritative and without error in the original manuscripts. (2 Timothy 3:16; 2 Peter 1:20-21; John 10:35; Matthew 5:18)

Jesus Christ is the one and only Son of God, who was conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of a virgin, lived a sinless life, performed miracles, died on a cross to provide for our redemption, arose from the dead, bodily ascended into Heaven, presently ministers in intercession for us, and will return to earth in power and glory. (John1:14; Luke 1:26-38; 2 Corinthians 5:21; John 6:19; Romans 3:24; Matthew 28:6; Hebrews 8:1; Hebrews 7:25; Acts 1:9-11; Luke 21:27)

The Holy Spirit performs the miracle of new birth in an unbeliever and indwells believers, enabling them to live a Godly life. (Acts 2:38; Titus 3:4-7; Romans 8:9, 11; Ephesians 2:22)

Mankind is created in the image of God, but because of sin has been alienated from God. That alienation can be removed only by accepting individually through faith God's gift of salvation, which was made possible by Christ's death and resurrection. (Genesis 1:26,27; Romans 3:23,5:8,8:1; John 3:16-19,5:24; Ephesians 2:8-9)

Believers in Christ are unified as Christ’s body on earth with each believer being given gifts for the building up of the church. (Ephesians 2:19-21; Colossians 1:24; Romans 12:5; 1 Corinthians 12:27)

Believers in Christ will be raised from the dead by the same power that raised Him and will live with Him forever. (Romans 8:11; 1 Thessalonians 4:16-17)
