Design Your Ministry
You've explored our resources and looked around the website. You may even have become a Crossroads Career® Network Member Church already — or you're interested in considering it further.
There are four basic offerings in a Crossroads Career®
Ministry. You can offer any you want, based on the needs of
your career explorers and the availability of volunteers. No
matter what you choose, it's all one price.

How you could offer it to your career explorers

| Website |
You start by providing access to this website. It contains
over a hundred links to relevant career sites, dozens of
articles, and our Career Explorer's Guide, which your career
explorers could use on their own. Career explorers register
themselves and print their own materials – all you
have to do is give them your church's "membership key"
to get in. If your career explorers want connection with
a church that does more, you can refer them "offsite"
to other Crossroads Career® Ministries in your community. |
Virtually zero |
| Small Groups |
If you have volunteers willing to facilitate small groups,
we believe this is the most potent environment for explorers
to walk through a career transition. You assign people to
small groups; they print their own materials and meet in
their groups. Limited - subject to availability of facilitators
Mentoring Volunteers in your church offer to go through
the Career Explorer's Course one-on-one with career explorers.

| Network Meetings |
You host a two-hour meeting at your church each month
(or more often if you choose). The meetings include one
or more speakers, prayer, facilitated and informal networking,
and (if available) networking with "industry guides,"
local employers who are willing to network with career explorers. |
Larger - you need to do publicity, meeting logistics and
follow-up. Also, more administration will be required to
keep track of all career explorers.
The majority of Crossroads Career® Ministries offer
network meetings. |
| Workshop |
You host a conduct of the Career Explorer's Course in
a workshop format. This can either be once a week for eight
weeks (traditional model) or any other model that works
(for example, offered over an intensive weekend) |
Still larger - more publicity, more logistics, lots of
facilitation, more administration. A significant number
of Crossroads Career® Ministries offer workshops.
